Brunico chosen as the happiest place

Today is the world's International Happiness Day, which has been declared by the UN to signal the importance of going beyond Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as a measure of progress. As stated, "We need,  better measures of society's real wellbeing, including happiness."

In Italy, there is a also a list of cities which have been chosen as the best places where to find happiness: the top three are Brunico, close to Bolzano; Vipiteno; and Sirmione, close to Brescia.
