Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Sardinia are the best destinations of the general ranking regarding the Italian beaches. The research made by Panorama Turismi -Turismo d’Italia Jfc collected Italians’  preferences in choosing the area resorts. The Adriatic Coast leads the ranking, with an overall score of 39.75 points, followed a short distance from Sardinia, with 38,95 points. In third place, Tuscany with 38,14 points. Then Puglia (35.53 points), Veneto (34,25), Sicily (33.79) and Marche (30,30).
 
As for being famous, which means recognized and recognizable, the regional area that gets the most points is Sardinia (8.90 points), followed by Tuscany (8.25) and Puglia (8.22). The most “trendy” and fashionable destination is Puglia (7.80 points), followed by Sardinia (7.67) and Emilia Romagna (7 , 64).
