Roberto Benigni and Nicoletta Braschi Won The Italian Golden Globe for Their Career
Roberto Benigni and Nicoletta Braschi will receive the 2016 Italian Golden Globe to honour their career. The cerimony, on its 56th edition, will be hosted on June 9th at Palazzo Farnese in Rome.
 
The Globo d’oro (also known as Italian Golden Globe) is the Italian annual film award, established in 1960 and it has as jury the Rome Foreign Press Association. The first awards ceremony took place in 1960 and was won by the film The Facts of Murder by Pietro Germi. The edition 1981 – 1982 saw the participation of the President of the Italian Republic Sandro Pertini.
